Faculty of Computer Technologies and Engineering (CTE) was the first Faculty of the International Black Sea University, established in 1995. CTE Faculty has been offering programs which are highly demanded on a local as well as global market. Our graduates have all necessary skills and knowledge which makes them competitive and favorable for employers.

Currently, there are 167 students studying at bachelor, master and doctoral levels of the Faculty. More than 10 qualified professors from 4 countries deliver courses and seminars for CTE students. 10 administrative faculty members are always ready to assist students on any issues related to educational process.

“Programs” Faculty of Computer Technologies and Engineering offers programs which have been developed in accordance with the experience of leading European and US universities. Language of instruction is English and Georgian, which enables domestic and international students to enroll the programs at three levels: Bachelor level programs in Informatics and Industrial Management and Technology, Master level programs in Computer Science, PhD program in Computer Science.Duration of the bachelor program is 4 years, master program – 2 years and doctoral program – 3 years.

“Academic Activities” Each year CTE Faculty organizes various academic activities, such as students’ competitions – hackathons in IBSU ILab, seminars by leaders of companies in IT and Industrial fields and research seminars for professional development of our staff. CTE faculty publishes a scientific journal of Technical Science and Technologies twice a year.

“International Projects” CTE Faculty is involved in international projects like– DAAD-Program University-business-partnerships, Erasmus+ project, etc.

“Exchange Programs and Dual Degree Program” We offer a wide variety of exchange programs in the US, Europe and Asia. Starting from 2015/2016 academic year students will have an opportunity to study abroad through Erasmus + mobility programs providing full coverage of expenses.

“Career” Graduates of CTE Faculty are distinguished by excellent employability skills, which makes them attractive for employers on local and global market.
