8th Annual International Research conference on American Studies

At the 8th Annual International Research conference on American Studies, held at IBSU on December 1, 2015 Ambassador of the United States of America Ian Kelly made a speech. Mr. Ambassador noted, that with help of the unique sphere of American Studies, 

the students, researchers will better explore different aspects of American Society & share their view points at the conference that will strengthen ties between the two nations even more. 

American Studies an only English program, opened first time in Georgia in 2002 at the Faculty of Education and Humanities every year gives chance to Georgian American Studies professors, MA & PhD program students  as well as foreign scholars to introduce articles at the American Studies Annual International Research conference around the following issues: American culture, history, literature, immigration, women’s studies, social issues, art, economy, politics due to the multidisciplinary character of the program.
