Cooperation with ELSEVIER publishing house

International Black Sea University will be involved in the ELSEVIER international scientific system. Since 2019, with full funding of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, existing universities and scientific-research centers will take part in the ELSEVIER system and will have access to the Scopus and Science Direct databases. Enrollment in the system will allow the university to use the latest scientific literature published in the world.

Elsevier is the leading global online publishing company that unites the world’s latest scientific literature, articles, research papers, books. ELSEVIER is an information and analytics company founded in 1880 in Amsterdam. It currently employs more than 7,200 people in over 70 offices across 24 countries.

Enrollment to these databases is important for Georgian scientists to access the latest electronic scientific databases and publications and to integrate into the international scientific community.
