IT Department is responsible for maintaining the university’s current and future IT structuring and enabling it to continue working without encountering any security issues. It does software and hardware projects in order that the campus and the entire organization within may work efficiently and productively. It also does projects to help create synchronization and an atmosphere of synergy between these software and hardware projects. It presents all these projects to the administration of the university. The aim of these projects is to form the kind of infrastructure that will give rise to a modern, safe and fast communication, to stay updated with all kinds of developments in the fields of technology and communication, and to improve the technological infrastructure of the university both qualitatively and quantitatively. The current level of security achieved in the interactive services provided for students and university personnel is the same as that which is enjoyed by some major banks of Georgia.
