IBSU hosted a public lecture on “Opportunities, problems, and challenges of integration into NATO and EU,” led by Papuna Davitaia, a third-rank captain with five years of experience working at NATO Joint Naval Forces Headquarters and participating in NATO counter-terrorism and maritime operations.

Among the themes covered in the discussion were NATO’s effect on global politics and reciprocal collaboration between Georgia and the Alliance. Article 5 of the NATO treaty as well as an appraisal of the most recent happenings in our nation, received special attention.
