We would like to remind you that the competition of articles continues until December 3, 2021, for the fourth (December) issue of the international scientific journal “Law Herald”.

The journal is published electronically and is published on the website: www.heraldoflaw.com

Herald of Law is a periodical of the Union of Law Scholars.

The journal has been awarded the international rating ISSN 2667-9434.

Competition topics

For publication in the journal, the competition will accept scholarly articles on current issues, law, human rights, and public administration, which contain scientific news and have a high scientific value.

Authors

In the competition announced for publication in the journal, scientific articles of Georgian and foreign scientists/researchers and doctoral students will be accepted.

In exceptional cases, the competition will accept scientific articles by authors from other fields, on the topic of the journal, taking into account their relevance, importance, and special scientific values.

Language of articles

Scientific articles can be submitted to the competition for publication in a journal in Georgian, English, German and Russian (with English abstract).

Copyright

The journal protects the material or intangible copyrights of the materials submitted and published.

In case of a decision by the editorial office to publish the article, the author is obliged to give a special right to the paper before the article is published, which must be confirmed by signing the relevant statement and issuing the relevant license at the request of the editorial office.

The license does not imply the transfer of the non-proprietary rights of the author. Authors have the right to revise their own works, although they are required to cite the journal as the source of the original publication.

Papers will be published in the journal – creative commons  ( CC BY CA).

Under this license, it is possible to use the works published in the journal for any, including commercial purposes, but with the obligation to cite the source.

Under this license, any person is entitled to share, distribute, reproduce the journal and parts of the journal, but also with an obligation to cite the source (including the website address).

In the event of a change in the material published in the journal, the said persons shall bear the notice of that change.

All new papers based on the material published in this journal must be licensed under the same conditions as the material used in the journal.

How to receive articles

To participate in the competition, please send articles to the following e-mail:  info@heraldoflaw.com

The author sends the author’s declaration form with the article as an attached file, as well as brief information about him/her and contact information, which will be stored in the editorial archive.

The article can be uploaded and emailed to the magazine also on the magazine website.

The article must be submitted in accordance with the established article formatting rule.

The editorial board verifies the compliance of the submitted paper with the established rule of writing articles.

The editors will not accept or review articles that do not comply with this rule and that do not meet the ethical standards for publishing articles. The editor, in such a case, if he deems it necessary and possible before sending it to the reviewers, may give recommendations to the author and offer to draw up an article in accordance with the established rule, for which he shall determine the time. If the author fully takes into account the recommendations of the editors, the article will be accepted for consideration.

By submitting an article to the editorial board of the journal, the author acknowledges that he or she is familiar with and agrees with the ethics of publishing the journal articles, the concept, the rules of the article competition, and the rules of article design.

The author, in case of a change of contact information before publishing an article in the journal, must inform him of his new contact information in a timely manner. Otherwise, any notification will be sent to the original email address or its contact phone number and will be considered delivered.

The editorial staff will contact the author of the article himself (in case of an article submitted by several authors, one of the authors).

Rules for reviewing articles

The article submitted for publication by the author is sent for evaluation to two reviewers selected by the Editor-in-Chief or the Editor-in-Chief.

The review is done according to the established review rule of the article.

An article review is considered a success if both receive positive reviews.

Competition results

The journal will publish the articles that will receive the highest scores as a result of the review.

A total of 15 scientific articles will be published in the journal.

Papers left out of the article competition, with the consent of their authors, will participate in the article competition announced for the next edition. For this, the authors will no longer need to re-submit these articles to the editors. Also, these articles will no longer be reviewed and they will retain the scores rated by the reviewers in the previous competition.

Referencing and indexing

The journal is reviewed in the Georgian Abstract Journal of the Institute Techinform (CRJ).

The journal is indexed in 3 global international databases:  ISI (International scientific indexing) და ROAD და HeinOnline
