TI delivered training for IBSU Journalism program students

School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences

IBSU BA Journalism program students attended the training about using open databases, organized and delivered by a non-governmental organization, Transparency International – Georgia (TI).

The “Investigative Journalism” students learned about state procurement methods, different types of state tenders, working with government open databases, and using TI search systems.

Working with open data and understanding how to locate proactively disclosed public information is an explicit prerequisite of the modern media market.
