“Storytelling in Communication” training was conducted at IBSU

02.12.2021
At International Black Sea University, IBSU associate professor Positive Psychology Consultant Dr. Lela Abdushelishvili conducted a training “Storytelling in Communication.”
During the training, Lela Abdushelishvili spoke about the importance of storytelling as a communication strategy in business. She focused on what emotions the story should evoke. Also, she discussed the role of the company’s values, brand, and culture in the story creation process. Emphasized the importance of the main characters of the story.
As Lela Abdushelishvili narrated at the training: “If you want to get people’s attention and influence them, tell them the good news. From ancient times, stories have inspired and encouraged action because they evoke emotions. As the saying goes: “Tell me a fact, and I will learn, tell me the truth, and I will believe, tell me a story, and it will live in my heart forever.”
