U.S. Embassy Cultural Affairs Officer (CAO) James Dewey participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony dedicated to the opening of new American Collection at International Black Sea University (IBSU).  Many of the books were donated by the U.S. Embassy’s Public Affairs Section, including English-learning material and books about U.S. history, culture, and literature.  The collection also included several books translated into Georgian through the U.S. Embassy’s Book Translation Program.  The donation highlights the International Black Sea University’s important role in the country as a great educational resource for all Georgians.  The University—and its vibrant American Studies program—is a valued partner of the U.S. Embassy and has often supported various Embassy events over the years.
