Training project “Basics of Business” opened its next group on November 6, 2018. The Project participants were welcomed by the coordinator of the project, Tamuna Papaskiri, also Vice Dean at the Faculty of Business Management, Coordinator of BA and MA educational Programs in Management, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maka Bughulashvili and Coordinator of BA and MA educational Programs in Marketing, Prof. Dr. Kakhaber Jakeli. After the introductory part 80 students from schools were distributed among four working groups for the first day of the project. The first day of the training was about main directions of business, where students received information about different business professions, characteristics for each and the skills needed to become a good specialist. The aim of the training was to help students find themselves in the field of business and discover the skills they possessed. “Basics of Business” project functions since 2014. More than 1500 students from Tbilisi, as well as the regions have already taken part in the project. Projects is aimed at 10th, 11th and 12th graders, regardless of the future profession they choose. Trainers at the project are students of Business Management Faculty at International Black Sea University. The participants receive certificates upon the successful completion of the project.
