The International Black Sea University (IBSU) has offered graduate school programs since 2005. Approximately 200 masters & 100 Ph.D. students are currently enrolled. The university facilitates 11 masters of arts & science in addition to 4 Ph.D. degree programs.

Languages of instruction are provided in English & Georgian.

Any bachelor degree holder that successfully passed the National Masters Examination and university English Language Proficiency exam and specialty tests respectively can study at one of our master’s degree programs.

Doctoral study is continued according to rules unique to doctoral program enrollment at IBSU. We host a diverse graduate school faculty from a variety of nationalities including the United States, United Kingdom, the Netherlands & Poland.

In addition, IBSU hosts exchange programs with 20 foreign universities worldwide. Graduate students at IBSU are unique in the sense that emphasis is placed on research programs beyond Georgia.
