Our university and faculty staff are eager to ensure quality education and student-oriented study environment for people interested in law. We offer you education through classic and innovative methods, qualified academic personnel and material-technical base corresponding to the contemporary requirements.
The faculty was formed in 2016, however BA Program of Law has been operating at the university since 2010, whereas MA program of Comparative Commercial Law has been operating since 2016. We are oriented on bringing up highly qualified lawyers, who will be competitive not only on Georgian, but on international labor market as well. An indivisible part of the study process is research-oriented environment: the faculty ensures publishing a periodic scientific journal, where works of students and experienced researchers are published side by side, whereas academic staff ensures students involvement in practice research component. At the same time, through using proper methods, we make sure that students gain necessary skills for using theory in practice. Legal Clinic is functioning at the faculty and students also have exclusive internship opportunities to numerous public and private institutions. We do pay a lot of attention that our alumnus are employed and integrated into professional environment.
The faculty sends its students abroad to different competitions and contests, as well as on exchange programs to numerous partner universities throughout the world. Professors from countries, such as the USA, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, etc., are involved in the study process along with their Georgian counterparts. This web of partner foreign professionals is constantly being renovated and broadened.
We do our best to encourage students’ initiative and support them to plan and implement different activities in connection with both – academic and social life.
