IBSU student participated in Elizabeth Orbeliani translation contest

School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences

Junior student of the American Studies program Ani Mtsariashvili took part in the Elizabeth Orbeliani translation contest organized by the administration of the President of Georgia. Ani Mtsariashvili translated George Orwell’s Essay “The Prevention of Literature” from English to Georgian.
The awarding ceremony of the Elisabed Orbeliani translation contest was held in the Orbeliani Palace. President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili attended the awarding ceremony.
The Dean of the School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Head of the American Studies Programs Prof. Dr. Tamar Shioshvili, and the Head of the U.S. Foreign Affairs MA Program Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tea Chumburidze were invited to the event.
